ACF is our asset-based lending group, which provides asset-based revolving lines of credit and term loans, as well as stretch loans to middle market and lower-middle market companies. In addition, ACF has the ability to provide cash flow loans to certain borrowers as well as asset-backed facilities to specialty finance companies. Leveraging the breadth and experience of the Ares platform, we work with borrowers to understand their business, goals and needs and then deliver creative, flexible and comprehensive financing solutions. ACF is part of the Ares Credit Group, which as of March 31, 2018(1), had $77.3 billion of assets under management. Our senior ACF investment professionals have on average over 28 years of experience in commercial finance and asset-based lending.

Our team uses a combination of specialized credit and collateral monitoring to provide clients with flexibility and greater credit availability. Our asset-based lines of credit may be structured as working capital and bridge financing, special accommodation financing, turnaround financing, debtor-in-possession financing and acquisition financing.
ACF is headquartered in New York, with offices in Los Angeles and Atlanta. As of March 31, 2018, ACF has approximately 55 investment professionals and support staff dedicated to these products. ACF draws upon the approximately 225 investment professionals in the Ares Credit Group and approximately 400 Ares professionals in accounting, finance, legal, compliance, operations, information technology and investor relations.
